Revit Based HydraLIST (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Create Stocklist Function: Dialog Box

Description:

No Pipe Types are displayed in the Pipes ...  Pipe Types...  drop down list

                       -or-

Pipe Types known to be selected are not included in the  Pipe...  Pipe Types...  drop down list

Solutions:

Cause:

PIpe type names are mysteriously not recognised by the Auto Listing Start Up Dialog box.  Since those Pipe Types are not recognized, they can not be mapped and it appears that the default behavior of the listing process is to treat those pipes as mains.

As a result, much more piping appears in the Mains section of the HydraLIST and little if any piping appears in the threaded pipe (Lines) section of the HydraLIST file.

Solution:

Preliminary testing using the latest version of the software (greater than 10.0.007) appeared to resolve the problem even though no specific programming was done relative to this problem.

So Upgrade to version >10.0.007 when possible

Alternatively, it was found that renaming the offending pipe types was effective it getting the newly named pipe types to be 'mapped' in the startup dialog box.
