AutoCAD Based Calculations (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)
Description:
Step 1a.10 - "Attaching Node 2 Elevations" User ID Duplicated Dwg ID Dup for User ID
Duplicated hydraulic ref points
When entering reference points into HydraCAD prior to running AutoCALC, the user used the same node ID more than once
In the image above, the node 'UG3' was used twice.
Click OK and cancel all the processes to get back to the drawing and 2D, then making sure the HYD layer is turned on, use AutoCAD's FIND command to find all the occurences of the node in question. Double-click a result to zoom into it. Delete any extras.
Cause:
1. Old JUMP detours placed on drawing
2. Most probably caused when the user is creating a detail with copied node points from the HYD2 layer which are being used in the HYD layer.
Solution
1. V52.04/v53.01 or older. Delete all white HYD2 reference points at JUMP locations only
2. Change the layer of the ref points from HYD2 to a less invasive layer (TEXT or MISC) or delete all the reference points in the HYD2 layer. Make sure to check ALL PAPERSPACE TABS as well when deleting the HYD2 blocks (thanks Shane G). Use the CB command on a node in the HYD2 layer to see how many need to be tracked down. This command looks in all modelspace and paperspace tabs when it counts the blocks. GAB
