Revit Based View (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: 3D View Function: Default 3D View

Description:

When making a 3D view, nothing shows up.

Solutions:

Cause:

There is a model object so far out in space in the default 3d view that when Revit zooms all everything is so tiny as too not be visible.
Solution:

Eliminate the object:

  • Delete the default 3D view and make a new default 3D view
  • Turn on Crop View and Crop Region Visible
  • ZF (zoom full) and through a series of selection windows, find and eliminate anything that doesn't belong
  • Delete the default 3D view and make a new default 3D view
  • Repeat until fixed.
