Revit Based HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Description:

There are no ribbons visible after installing the software. The HydraCAD ribbon is missing.

Solutions:

1.
Cause:

The Hydratec for Revit install didn't fully complete therefore the Ribbons are missing. 
Solution:
  • Close Revit
  • Navigate to HES\Hydratec for Revit\Programs
  • Right click on HydratecRevitAddinAssistant.exe Pick Run as Administrator
  • Pick add to each option in your subscription
  • Pick Apply
  • Open Revit
  • Open a sample project
  • Verify ribbions are visible and functional

Cause:

Alternatively, The version of Hydratec for Revit you have installed was created for the Revit version prior than the one you're trying to run. (For example: software hasn't been updated from Revit 2022 to 2023, so the ribbons aren't appearing in Revit 2023.)

 
Solution:

If you have and were using a previous version of Revit, please select the 'New Version Available!' button. That will install the newest version of Hydratec for Revit. If the ribbons do not appear, follow the steps above. 

If you do not have a prior version of Revit to find that button in, follow this link and download the latest install.
