Revit Based HydraCALC (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Hydraulic Calculations Error Type: Failed to launch

Description:

Failed to launch C:\hes\hydratec for revit\programs\calcdiagnose.exe

Solutions:

Cause:

Installation and Updates failed to install the utility program called "calcdiagnose.exe"
Solution:

Use the link below to download a zipfile containing that .exe and copy it to the appropriate location on your computer:

After using the link above to download the zip file, you will need to:

  • Open the zip file
  • Copy the one file "calcdiagnose.exe" to:
  • c:\hes\Hydratec for Revit\programs\
  • Note that on some computers tthe Hydratec software may have been installed to an alternate drive from C:\   for instance, S:\  In such instances use s:\  in place of c:\  in the instruction avove
  • Restart the calculation.  You'll still get 200 passes as a problem but you will now be able to follow the directions in the HydraCARD video regarding 200 passes.
