AutoCAD Based Piping (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Riser Nipple Setup Error Type: Fatal Error

Description:

When trying to insert a riser nipple/vertical pipe, you get a FATAL ERROR:  Unhandled Access Violation. 592A00h or 8B2A00h

Trying to insert a riser nipple while in Model view.
Solution:

What to look for; 

• Make sure you're in Edit Mode, type S2D to go back to 2D

• Confirm the pipes are "in line" with each other.  For example, one end-user had a pipe drawn at 90.005 degrees, and its connecting pipe drawn at 89.993 degrees.  Redrawing both pipes and confirming they were both at 90.000 degrees helped.  

• Run the AUDIT command and make sure to tell Acad to fix the errors (Y).  Make sure to save the drawing after the audit is complete.

• Run the PURGE command making sure to purge all, then use RBL to rebuild the HydraCAD layers post purge.
