Description:

The Valve Selector is not displaying properly on 4K monitors (menu items and minimize/maximize/close buttons are not showing up, text and graphics are scaled incorrectly, general look and feel does not match the documentation, etc.).

Solutions:

Cause:

The .NET framework currently used in Revit does not address scaling issues introduced by 4K monitors; as a result, launching the Valve Selector while using one of these monitors will likely result in numerous issues related to size / spacing of text and graphics.
Solution:

To get the application to display properly, first make sure that Revit is closed. Right-click the Revit icon and select Properties, then navigate to the Compatibility tab and select the button labeled Change high DPI Settings.

Check the box labeled Override high DPI scaling behavior., and select System in the dropdown list directly underneath it.

Click OK and reopen Revit -- the application should now display properly.
