AutoCAD Based Sprinklers (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Select Sprinkler Function: Choose Part Number Error Type: Sprinkler not properly configured

Description:

While using the 'Choose Part Number' button to open HydraHEAD Selector and retrieive its description and part number, you get the errors below;

Runtime Error 713, Application-defined or object-defined error

Sprinkler not properly configured.  Please re-select using 'Choose part'

Solutions:

Cause:

Microsoft DAO utility is not properly registered on the computer 713 HydraHEAD. The program must be opened as administrator via the stand-alone method. 

 

Likely to happen soon after initial install of the software or if opening Head Selector via HydraLIST.
Solution:

Follow the instructions below or watch this video.

  1. From your desktop, right-click the icon for HydraLIST Head Selector and pick 'run as administrator'.   
    a. If the "classic" Head Selector opens you're all set. (See image here to verify you're on the "classic" version)
       
    b. If the "new" Head Selector opens (See image to verify "new" version), go to step 2.
        
  2. Go to this folder;  "C:\HES\HydraHEAD\VER50\Programs\"
  3. Right-click and 'run as admin' for "HydraHEAD.exe".
  4. Close HydraLIST Head Selector.
  5. Reopen HydraLIST Head Selector.
