A clean install of Windows XP Pro with SP1 has newer versions of the VB5 files used with the .net development environment. The install program detects and does not overwrite the necessary library files. So after installation, this mismatch error occurs upon execution of the Hydralist program. Runtime Error 3447 50.14

Solutions:

Cause:

Run-Time Error 3447: The Jet VBA file (VBAJET.dll for 16-bit versions, or VBAJET32.dll for 32-bit versions) failed to initialize when called. Try reinstalling the applications that returned the error.

Solution:

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Q192934 references this problem. (located at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;192934) Try copying the listed DLLs from another computer, reboot and see if the problem goes away. Compatible versions (from a Win XP pro machine) of the listed files can be found zipped into JetFix.zip in godzilla/hydraCards/Other. All files go into WINSYSDIR except dao350.dll which should go into /program files/ common files/ microsoft shared/ dao. OR Try a reinstall OR Delete all the VB files noted in the knowledge base and reinstall Hydralist to allow the install to load the older versions of these files. OR Download VBRUN60.EXE from http://www.offsitelabs.com/misc/vbrun60.asp and run it on. Reboot the computer and load into HydraList again. A copy can be found on Godzilla/HydraCards/Other Files.
