AutoCAD Based Sprinklers (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Description:

Before raising to 3D, the sidewall sprinklers point in the correct direction.  After returning to 3D, some sidewalls have been flipped 180°

Solutions:

Cause:

After inserted somewhere, a sidewall sprinkler was copied elsewhere then mirrored.  
Solution:

When you mirror a block, AutoCAD doesn't update the Rotation Angle property of the object you mirrored. Therefore, if you insert a sidewall to the right (0°) then mirror it in any direction, the block will be graphically displayed in the correct angle but it won't change the Rotation Angle property of the block, so its insertion angle will remain 0°

 

When a drawing is raised to 3D, HydraCAD only reads its Rotation Angle value, NOT the graphically displayed angle.

 

User will have to rotate the blocks (CHB may be best option) or erase and re-insert sidewalls at the proper angle.
