AutoCAD Based 3D Modeling (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Show System Model

Description:

Upon starting the Show 3D command (S3D) the drawing immediately switches to SE isometric, reports no errors but no 3D piping is visible.  Even newly drawn pipe won't elevate.

Drawing successfully elevated to 3D. No errors were found

Solutions:

Cause:

Riser nipple(s) is/are set to be "permanent" HydraPipes.
Solution:

1. While in 2D Edit Mode, at the command prompt, type QSELECT then press ENTER

2. Set 'Object Type' to HYDRAPIPE

3. Set 'Operator' to SELECT ALL

4. Click OK. All VPs on the drawing will be selected and their grips will be visible

5. Type PROPERTIES or view the Properites palette.

6. Scroll down to the 'Common Pipe Info' section and look for PERMANENT. Set the value to '0-Not Permanent'
