Description:

Revit cannot complete the external command unhandled exception Object not set to an instance of an Object

Solutions:

Cause:

Error happens when using sprinkler spacing and layout tool, NOT MODELING any pipes and trying to move a sprinkler. JB

Solution:

To use sprinkler spacing and move sprinklers, pipe must also be modeled AT LEAST ONCE and then can be turned off. hint: to model or not model pipes is in Options.
