Revit Based HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Spacing and Layout Error Type: Unhandled Exception

Description:

Using the Sprinkler Spacing and Layout tool: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Cause:

Bad info in:

C:\HESTemp\

For the following:

headConfigOptions.tmp RevitSpacingOptionsIMP.tmp RevitSpacingOptionsMET.tmp

Version 9 and 10 and maybe beyond --> the files are now SpacingPresets.txt and HeadConfigPresets.txt

Solution:

Close Revit
Windows explorer, browse to C:\HESTemp
Delete... headConfigOptions.tmp RevitSpacingOptionsIMP.tmp RevitSpacingOptionsMET.tmp
Delete SpacingPresets.txt and HeadConfigPresets.txt if using ver 9 or 10 and maybe beyond
Reopen the project and try again.
