AutoCAD Based Listing (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)
Description:
No error, tagged main gets listed as a different ID example: Main D has missing pieces which appear as Main C SEARCH WORDS: missing skip not listed wrong n/a
AutoLIST skips over a listing tag possibly on a vertical pipe) or STOP sign (usually on a sloped pipe) 1. If the tag is on the pipe; When sloped pipe raises into the System Model they shift slightly due to the slope. While in the 3D model, view the pipe and listing tags from a TOP view. The listing tag will not be exactly at the END of the pipe. This can be off just a small amount (less than an inch). AutoLIST will not see it therefore skip over it. 2. If the tag is on a vertical pipe; Missing main is tagged on a vertical pipe off a sloped main (which has a sloping defline). The vertical pipe is set to "allow a slope", which in turn causes the program to think the tag is not attached to the pipe.
1. While in the 3D Model move the listing tag from its insertion point to the end of the HydraPipe. The listing tag will use the z coordinate of the new location. Rerun AutoLIST while in 3D. NOTE: If you drop to 2D Edit mode you will notice that the listing tag is NOT on the coupling, DO NOT MOVE IT. DO NOT run Drawing Checkups after moving all the tags in the model. Checkups will "repair" the tags and put them back on the couplings therefore causing AutoLIST to not see the tags again. 2a) Select the vertical pipe with the missing Main ID to show its grips. b) Right-click and select PROPERTIES or select the PROPERTIES button or palette. c) Find the section called "Common Pipe Info" and change the setting for "Allow Slope" to NO. d) Rerun AutoLIST.
