AutoCAD Based 3D Modeling (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Description:

Using negative floor elevations and drop windows with specified lengths, drops give a warning that takeout was greater than it's length, when going to 3D.

Solutions:

Cause:

Program has a problem calculating drop lengths when going to 3D when negative floor elevations and drop windows with specified lengths are used.

Solution:

This is a known problem.

The workaround is to set the floor elevation at 0 (zero) to calculate the drops correctly.

If the building needs to be coordinated then move the pipe model in the negative Z direction after it is created.
