Button: Hangers

Description:

When placing clevis hangers or adjustable ring hangers on a 10-inch pipe drawing in Revit, the hangers render incorrectly with missing 5/8 rods.

Solutions:

Cause:

An outdated or broken hanger family definition in Hydratec for Revit Version 26.3.000 project workspace prevents the 5/8 rod on 10-inch hanger components from rendering properly.
Solution:

  1. Open your current active Revit project.

  2. Leave it open and simultaneously open the reference project file named "Sample with 10 hangers" (SampleHangerFix)

  3. Zoom in and select any 10-inch hanger in that sample project.

  4. Right-click the hanger and select Edit Family.

  5. Click Load into Project, select your active broken project file, and choose to Overwrite the existing version.

Note: This issue will be permanently fixed in the next software installation update.
