AutoCAD Based Sprinklers (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)
Description:
When running the "FSC Setup" to "Create FSC Definition".
Upon finishing the block definition, the block definition is missing a crucial property for "Hydraulic equivalent length is referenced by:". This field will show blank or the default generic text and did not include the HydraCALC pipe/fitting reference information.
There is a missing HydraCALC "ImportExport" directory.
Default line text:
`Hydraulic equivalent length is referenced by: shortname with length number - longname Listing: FM`
HydraCALC is missing a directory "ImportExport" in its installation directory. This is causing Flexible Sprinkler Connections to not correctly import and attach friction loss data from HydraCALC.
Note: This missing folder could potentially be caused by your company's security software deleting this directory.
Add the missing directory "ImportExport" back to the HydraCALC directory.
If you follow these steps, the reference should be updated and the correct data should be returned.
Notice that the equivalent length reference is now correctly displaying.
Note: If the "ImportExport" folder is empty, the flex process will create generic friction loss data, and the equivalent lengths will need to be correctly added to HydraCALC via "Utilities" > "Alter Pipe/Fittings".
