Description:

Step 1a.1 - Error Box - User ID Duplicated

Transfer to HydraCalc - Step I1a.10 System is now 'Attaching Node 2 Elevations error occurs, please report both the step number and the step description to support! Error Display Error Type User ID Duplicated Step Ref 1 Ref 2 Ref 3 I Ref 4 1a.1

Solutions:

1.
Cause:

Cause may be more obtuse than described above and finding the duplicate Ref Points may seem like more work than it's worth

Solution:

An alternative solution (see primary solution below) is to DELETE all ref points in the project and start the calculation again.

If you want to see if this will solve your problem but you'ra affraid of deleting all those other ref points, you could do a save and a save as so that your calculation ids done in a separate copy of the project.

2.
Cause:

We want to use the same reference point for a fitting or head. Usually happens when a user assigns a reference point to a sprinkler.

Solution:

Revit -> Manage Tab -> Inquiry ->Select By I.D., enter a reference I.D. from column 1 or column 2 (hint, Heads start with an H) and Revit will zoom to the fitting or head. Eliminate the assigned reference point from the fitting or head.

3.
Cause:

There is a corrupt temporary file

Solution:
  • In Windows File Explorer, browse to the C:\HES\TEMP folder (If you have Hydratec of Revit installed on a different drive, replease C: with that drive letter)
  • Find the files v50Calctemp.tmp and v50CalcTemp_Backup.tmp and delete those files

  • Go back to the model and use Delete Reference Points (Use the button as it has an option to do this all automatically)

  • Delete All Reference Points in Project

  • Try to calculate again. It should no longer stop at 1a.10
