Button: Define Supply Error Type: Command Failure for External Command

Description:

Revit could not complete the external command... Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.InvalidOperationException

Solutions:

Cause:

This specific error is caused by trying to Define Supply in a Section View without the supply point present. 
Solution:

Either leave the section view, put the supply point in the 2D floor plan or ceiling plan and then rerun define supply.

OR

If you'd really like to have the Define Supply info box present in the section view, put the supply point inside of the section, then rerun Define Supply. 

You may have to then add supply point back to your floor plan and ceiling plan once you're done with your section if you follow these steps.
