Description:

Unable to load defaults during HydraCALC Setup. Occasionally will give an error, but most commonly nothing will be filled in.

Solution:
  • There is a chance if your dialog box has an empty Pipe Types dropdown like above, the error message relates to there being no pipes in the selection entering this command so the problem may be related to that. So as stated below...
     
  • Please ensure all the required items are selected prior to running Hydraulic Calculations (Operating heads, Connected model, Water Supply point, etc.)
     
  • The previously selected values for the Pipe Type mapping and the defaults for those settings are kept in 2 small files on the local computer. MaximumPipeSizes.dat and MaximumPipeSizes-Defaults.dat. These are located at.. C:\HES\Hydratec for Revit\Data\Setup
     
  • Delete both those files and attempt running the command again.
