AutoCAD Based Launching HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Opening Error Type: Unrecognized version

Description:

When opening HydraCAD and trying to open a drawing or a template, you get the error message; 

Also happened when layers were isolated trying to burst objects

 

'unrecognized version and cannot be read'

Go into [Tools|Options} and in the FILES tab check to see if you have duplicate paths in the [Printer Support Path|Plot Style Table Search Path]. 

 

 

Remove any duplicates

Solution:

Turn off the computer and turn it back on (NOT a restart).  Was working again after that.  Also may be related to xref'd items which are no longer found or linked to the open drawing.
