Hangers dialog won't open:
Unhandled exception has occurred... Object reference not set to an instance of an object
There's two properties of the Pipe Sleeve family causing this error.
Go to the project browser, scroll down until you see Families and click the + icon to expand the list.
Next, scroll until you see Pipe Accessories, expand that list and scroll until you see Pipe Sleeve, usually located towards the bottom.
Right click Pipe Sleeve, and select Edit
This should open up a 3D View of the Sleeve, but this can be safely ignored. Towards the top left of the screen, click the properies box, shown here in red:
When the properties opens, you're looking for the Compatible with... properties under the Text category.
Click on them, then towards the bottom of the properties window, select the page with an X and delete both properties.
Reload the family into the Project, overwriting it’s parameters.
The pipe sleeve family has been updated an should not cause this problem in future models when selecting hangers.
