Error Type: Error Writing

Description:

While Running the HydraKey or HydraVersion Install, you recieve Error 1310.

Solutions:

Cause:

The install is having trouble with permissions writing one of the files in the install. 

 Potential causes are:

-File, or one of its dependencies,  is currently open in windows.

-Install being run NOT as administrator.

-Some security software/virus scanner is blocking the installation.
Solution:
  1. Close all software on target machine
  2. Turn off all virus scanner real time scanning.
  3. Click this link to get the newest HydraKEY install: https://hydrakey-public.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/HydraKeyInstall.exe
  4. Select "Save File"

  1. Go to the folder where the file downloaded.

  1. Right Click and Run the file as administrator:

  1. Go through the install and click Finish.
  2. You are now on the newest version of the HydraKEY install
