When opening HydraCAD, you only receive this error message and not a HydraKEY error with the golden X.  If you receive a HydraKEY error, search for the linked HydraCARD in that message box as it takes priority.

 

Security Error: One of the following conditions is possible

HydraCAD is unable to function under these conditions.

  • Lock database needs updating in HydraKEY
  • Accounting flag on your account
  • Hardware lock not plugged in
  • Extra ACAD.RX file found in folder in Support File Search Path
  • Sentinel driver is missing
  • InstallPath registry item set to wrong drive

After AutoCAD opens, press F2 to view the command prompt, see if the text below appears.  If yes, see solution 1.

Is 2024; error: no function definition: PRINTEM

When opening HydraVIEW as stand-alone, via HydraCALC or via HydraLIST, nothing happens.

1. Its icon is NOT in the taskbar

2. HydraVIEW is running in the Windows Task Manager;

"Viewer compatible with Win 2000 & HydraLIST and HydraCALC - Contains Print Previewer (32 bit)"

When raising to 3D (S3D command), you get a yellow circle with the message "Takeout of fitting does not match takeout expected for a "??????".  Change fitting of fabrication method"

While in your viewport, your riser is visible while in the 2D Wireframe view.  However if you change the Visual Style to Conceptual or Shades of Grey/Shades of Gray, your 3D riser disappears.  You may notice if re-appears if you zoom out.

After printing your data in HydraLIST, when HydraVIEW opens you attempt to change the default printer. 

You get an error "Page Setup - Unknown filetype found 'HLTF'"

Reviewing the results you notice a discrepancy between the k-factor of an equivalent k versus a sprinkler head using that equivalent k-factor

 

In the example below, EQ02 has a k-factor of 5.37.  Reference point 1 is supposed to use the k-factor of EQ02 (5.37) but in fact is using a different value (5.36).
