Button: Calculate Function: Calculating Error Type: Error in calc engine

Description:

While trying to calculate a job, an error message pops up saying the following

"Error in Calc Engine"

Error in processing data of calculation;

-If this is a grid, uncheck 'Autopeak' and try again or,

-Confirm the node you set as the calculation source node exists in your input or,

- Check for incorrect values in your densities, areas or pressures

Solutions:

1.
Cause:

Along with the listed issues noted;

-If this is a grid, uncheck 'Autopeak' and try again or,

-Confirm the node you set as the calculation source node exists in your input or,

- Check for incorrect values in your densities, areas or pressures

Solution:

- Uncheck the autopeak option

- Source node noted in the calculation setup window does not exist in the input screen

- Mis-typed value in the density, area, or pressure (ie. 0.1.0 density or area of A100, etc)

2.
Cause:

Common Elevation box has too many characters

Solution:

For any common elevation in the hundreds, you'll have to round up/down to the next whole meter/foot so there aren't any decimals.

Older generated calculations (.WX1) may have 3 or more decimal places entered.

Technically, if all the nodes have an elevation, there's no need to use Common Elevation anyway, so it can be set to 0.  You can use decimals up to hundedths in the Elev column, just not in the Comm Elev box

3.
Cause:

Job Name text is too long.  Seems like 128 characters is the limit

Solution:

This box is for a job name, not to save notes.

Use the NOTES button (last button on the top toolbar) to save notes for the job.

4.
Cause:

manual input of a 0 length pipe

Solution:

make pipe a real length
