Revit Based HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Setup Error Type: System.Null.Reference

Description:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Solutions:

Cause:

1. The file Hydratec_Shared_Parameters.txt hath been corrupted
Solution:

Replace the corrupt file with a good file

  1. Get new file from co worker or from Hydratec Revit Support. Files include: 
    a) Hydratec_Shared_Parameters.txt
    b)  Hydratec_Calculation_Shared_Parameters.txt (optional)
  2. Navigate to `<Drive>:\HES\Hydratec for Revit\Common` folder.
  3. Now replace old files with the new files.

Always when replacing a file make a backup of the current file.

Ex: Hydratec_Shared_Parameters.txt.bak
