AutoCAD Based 3D Modeling (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)
Description:
When attempting to 'Show Fittings' (SHF command), user gets an AutoCAD Fatal Error.
Create 3D Model causes a fatal error
SHF command doesn't like the configuration of; line pipe --> armover vertical pipe --> armover pipe --> sidewall head
Using the CRN command or by editing the vertical pipe (double-click), change the type of vertical pipe from ARMOVER to LINE. Then change the green armover pipe to the yellow lines layer.
Create 3D model without showing fittings will not cause the error. Using Show Fittings in Model give the Fatal Error.
Layout was setup as, Branchline > armover pipe > sidewall. The armover diameter was 1/2" diameter
Either remove the armover pipe and move the sidewall to the branchline, or change the diameter of the armover pipe to 1".
(Thanks Matt K!)
More than one sprinkler head being fed by a green pipe
In this case we cannot use green pipe (SPRKDAT4) here.
Similer to the side outlet to a sidewall, this one was to a plug
Change the SPRKDAT4 pipe's layer to SPRKDAT2
Armover piping is connected directly to main piping
Armover piping should only be connected to branchline piping (SPRKDAT4 to SPRKDAT2). If you have a vertial pipe, make sure its properties are corrected as well
