AutoCAD Based Calculations (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)
Description:
Step 1a.6 - attaching nodes Hangs pause pauses locks freezes
User copied VPs from another pipe, but didn't fix rotation angle
Erase existing VPs and insert new ones, or rotate the existing ones so they match the outlet direction
Cause:
1. Bad X data
2. One or more hose (gpm/lpm block) demand inserted at the endpoint of a dead end pipe or on a pipe not connected to any flowing pipe
3. Multiple Definitions for the same sprinkler head block
4. Bad Sizing Schedule
5. Equivalent K's checked and armovers in sprkdat4 layer that create a cross shape
6. Two sprinklers inserted on top of each other but at different rotation angles
7. User connected two sprinklers with flex hose. (IE. hard pipe > flex hose > sprinkler > flex hose > sprinkler
8. User had connected two sprinklers with pipe in the Armover SPRKDAT4 layer
9. Disconnected pipe
10. Flex head detail not correct.
11. Hose flow block at Jump landing or takeoff point. Probalby crash with Set Pressure or Set Head Area as well
Solution:
1. Type in Hcad_erasexdata , or type CED and let it run
2. Gpm/lpm blocks must be inserted along the path of flowing pipes
3. Delete the head definitions in the ACC1 layer and then redefine the sprinkler heads
4. Pick each drop down in the schedule once (no need to change diameters) - Art
5. Change Armover to sprkdat2 layer and run again, uncheck equivalent K's, or redraw armovers to create a tee instead of a cross. - JB
6. User inserted the same sprinkler head on top of itself, but the rotation angle was different so checkups/overkill didn't catch it. Will most likely be a flowing sprinkler head so start with those. I replaced all existing heads with a HEAD5 to find the bad ones. GAB 2/02/15
7. You can't do that. [GAB 12/12/17]
8. Pipe in the Armover SPRKDAT4 Layer can only connect to one sprinkler head from a pipe in the Lines SPRKDAT2 Layer. [WHM 01/04/19]
9. Use walk model to find the disconnect.
10. Make sure Fex head detail accurately represents the setup of the head.
11. Erase the hose flow and put somewhere else
