Standalone HydraCALC (Location)

Button: Open Error Type: Runtime Error

Description:

When opening HydraCALC, user gets Runtime Error 457 "This key already associated with an element of this collection"

Solutions:

Cause:

User imported or edited a pipe or fitting table that was already in the data. The duplicate value causes the error. 

This is the file in question; C:\HES\HydraCALC\VER50\Data\Setup\  MASTER.DAT

One of two options to fix, see SOLUTIONS
Solution:

Option 1  Copy the file C:\HES\HydraCALC\VER50\Data\Setup\  MASTER.DAT from another machine and replace the broken one.

Option 2 - CAREFUL when editing this file, character locations and spaces are critical.   

In Windows File Explorer, go to C:\HES\HydraCALC\VER50\Data\Setup and right-click "Master.dat".  Use 'Open With' and select Notepad.

Find the duplicated value (entire row) and delete the entry, close and save and Hydracalc should open now.
