If possible, set it to 1 and restart AutoCAD. If not, edit the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R20.1\ACAD-F001\Variables\*DISPLAYSTARTTAB and set the Default item to 1, then open AutoCAD. User may have to type in STARTMODE and set it to 1 and restart again after registry is changed
