AutoCAD Based Launching HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Description:

One or more toolbars cannot be found after selecting a menu or command.

This happens because the toolbar is being opened 'off screen'. This usually happens when the computer has a dual monitor but the 2nd monitor isn't currently connected. 

Solutions:

Cause:

This usually happens when the computer uses a dual monitor but the 2nd monitor isn't currently connected.

Solution:

You must know the name of the toolbar you're looking for. You can find this by opening the CUI and viewing the Toolbar list. The "Aliases" section will provide the toolbar name. Call Hydratec for assistance if you can't find it.

1. At the command prompt, type in (make sure to include the hyphen in the beginning... -TOOLBAR then press enter

2. At the prompt, type in the name of the toolbar you're missing. eg HCAD.PIPING

3. Type in F for float and press 3 times. The missing toolbar will show up in the upper left corner of your screen.


This window will open when you type CUI

Solution:

Close AutoCAD

Go to the folder; C:\HES\HydraCAD\Ver50\Programs\Version## and delete these two files:

HCADWIN.MNR
HCADWIN_LIGHT.MNR

Load back into AutoCAD


3.
Cause:

Same error


Solution:

Type in DDL to reset HydraCAD Default Dialog Locations.  This resets all dialog boxes.
