User does not have administrator rights
Solution:

2) Make sure the user has administrator rights if this does not work...

Right click on the program icon, select "run as administrator." (if this seems to work then..) right click the program icon, pick properties pick the "advanced" button select "run as administrator"

User had no hangers set up in Assembly.mdb
Solution:

3) Open HydraLIST > General Data > Assembly Table. Check for existing hangers - If none replace file. At least one hanger assembly is required. C:\HES\Hydlist\Ver50\Data\Setup

CAUSE #1

HES or a file inside is "read only"
Solution:

1) Right-click the HES folder, pick properties, uncheck read only and hidden. Apply to all subfolders and files.
