AutoCAD Based 3D Modeling (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

1. Video Driver out of Date -or- 2. AutoCAD MEP has a .dbx file interfering with our drawing HydraCAD

1. Video Driver out of Date -or- 2. AutoCAD MEP has a .dbx file interfering with our drawing

Solution:

1. Update Video Driver 2. SMaRTools conflicts with MEP Plumbing object and crashes. MEP Plumbing object code has to be disabled. Close AutoCAD. Go find in C:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2008, the file AecbPlumbingBase.dbx and rename it by changing its extension to AecbPlumbingBase.XXdbx. This will prevent it from loading, allowing SMaRTools to function. The only known drawback to this approach causes any Plumbing objects to not display or function. We will continue to find a more appropriate fix. A service pack seems to reinstall this file.
