AutoCAD Based Listing (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Start Autolist

Description:

When attempting to run AutoLIST, an error message says; Error: Unable to insert cut length dimensions! Unable to insert cut 

 

You may also see this message;

Re-run Autolist with the drawing starting on the ground, Current run will not include any FSC information in the MISC tab in HydraLIST

Solutions:

Cause:

Riser nipple(s) is/are set to be "permanent" HydraPipes.
Solution:

1a. Select all VPs on the drawing by using QSELECT

 

1b. Set 'Object Type' to HYDRAPIPE

 

1c. Set 'Operator' to SELECT ALL

 

1d. Click OK. All VPs on the drawing will be selected and their grips will be visible

 

2. Alternatively, you can skip step 1 and select any vertical pipe to expose its grips, right-click it and select 'Select Similar'.  This will also pick all your VPs

 

3. Once they're all selected, right-click again and select PROPERTIES from the menu

 

4. Scroll down to the 'Common Pipe Info' section and look for PERMANENT. Set the value to '0-Not Permanent'

 

Confirm the drawing will raise to 3D before trying the AutoLIST again. [GAB 12/23/15]
