AutoCAD Based Listing (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Start Autolist Error Type: Failed to launch

Description:

"AutoLIST Failed!... Please run Listing CheckUps"

 

This message is shown when running the AutoLIST process, but checkups didn't find any errors AutoLIST Failed

Solutions:

Cause:

Outdated/unsigned application files
Solution:

Using Windows File Explorer, navigate to this folder and check the version of this file by right-clicking it, selecting Properties, and check the DETAILS value tab.

It should be file version 2025.10.20.32 or newer.  

If you have an older version, please contact Hydratec for updates to these two files;

Cause:

1) Bad VP lengths in a Metric drawing

 

2) Grid has user defined RNs on both ends.

 

3) Fitting that does not exist. Ex. Head on a tee creating a 4 outlet fitting.
Solution:

The length of the VP was 6mm and checkups didn't catch it as an error. A length of 6" is fine for Imperial, but in Metric, it's too small for AutoLIST to handle.

**IMPORTANT** If using HydraCAD 52.04 or older, you MUST close and re-open AutoCAD before running another AutoLIST as trying to run the process again will give a FATAL ERROR.

Cause:

Bad install of HydraCAD, likely due to anti-virus blocking some HydraCAD install files [7/28/21 GAB]
Solution:

User was running Kaspersky.  Witnessed the install of HydraKEY, but then when we attempted to run it, Kaspersky blocked and DELETED the application.  Disabling Kaspersky and re-installing HydraCAD fixed the issue.
