Running AutoCALC checkups on a drawing causes AutoCAD to crash out AutoCAD Application has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Solutions:

Cause:

Sprinkler heads defined with lower case letters will cause AutoCAD to crash out.

Solution:

Even if the head doesn't exist in the drawing (no heads and no blue boxes) but the drawing still has the head in the block table, it will crash. You must purge out all sprinkler head references with lower case letters then redefine them. [GAB 12 Oct 17]
