Security and Licensing Entitlement (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: USB Transfer

Description:

When trying to transfer an Entitlement using the Hydratec Entitlement Transfer Utility ("C:\HES\Common\Entitlement Transfer\HydraEntitlementTransfer.exe") , after plugging in the USB to the "new" computer, you can't see a license to transfer.

 

The recipient does not show up the the window for licenses available to move (top right), but are visible in the bottom right window.

 

Solutions:

Cause:

The recipient does not show up the the window for licenses available to move, but are in the window below.
Solution:

With Windows File Explorer, navigate to C:\HES\Common\ then find the application RUS_MGCGX.exe.

Right click, and 'Run as Administrator'
  
Select the Apply License File tab.
 
 

Click the […] browse button then navigate to the USB drive, then the folder \HES\Licenses.  Locate and select the .H2H file 


 

Click Apply Update


 
 
You should see Update written successfully.

 

Close out of RUS then try to open a Hydratec application.  You should be all set.
