Button: Tag Pipes Error Type: Command Failure for External Command

Description:

Revit could not complete the external command... Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.InvalidObjectException

Resolved in: 23.2.006

Solutions:

Cause:

The new update to Tag Pipes has caused errors if the scale of your model is set smaller than: 1/8” = 1’0 (1:50 metric)

 

 
Solution:

Change the scale to something larger and rerun the Tag Pipes command. The scale of your project can be changed by clicking on the current size, located in the bottom left of the screen. 

Afterwards, pick a size bigger than the ones found to be creating errors. Here is a guide: 

 

NOTE: This error is encountered in Revit program versions 23.3.005 and 23.3.004, if an update to version 23.3.006 or greater is available, please run that update. That should also solve this error.
