AutoCAD Based Couplings (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Button: Custom Coupling Error Type: None

Description:

When running the Custom Coupling command [CC], the tooltip which follows the crosshairs duplicates the Command Line text, it does not show the drag distance and angle from the origin

The tooltip would be more useful if it showed the distance from the start point

Solutions:

Cause:

Options and Drafting setting must be changed

Solution:

At the Command Prompt, type in OP<enter>, go to the Drafting tab and turn on the checkbox for Display Auto Track tooltip.

One note to keep in mind, ORTHO (F8) must be turned ON for this to display properly. It'll resort to duplicating the command line if ORTHO is off.
