Standalone HydraCALC (Location)

Button: Open Function: Double-click Error Type: Missing file

Description:

When double-clicking a .WXF file, you get the error, "An error has occurred and HydraCALC cannot be loaded;

Cause:

This error pops up when double-clicking a .WXF file.

1. The file will open without issue if you open HydraCALC first, then navigate to the file.

2. The file is located on the network, not on the local drive. If you move it to the local drive, you can double-click it.

Solution:

Possibly missing a registry entry. Check for this location in the registry. Create it if missing;

Navigate to the \Ver50\ key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\HYDRATEC\Ver50\

There should be a string called InstallPath

The value should be the local drive, for instance, C:
