Revit Based HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Description:

Command Failure for External Command... ...System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException

Solutions:

Cause:

Something went wrong when installing the Hydratec for Revit software. 
Solution:

Reinstall your Hydratec for Revit software. This can be done by:

 

  1. Going to your installation executable
  2. Selecting the option to Remove your currently install software
  3. Run it again, and start a new install
  4. Select the path you want your Hydratec for Revit software to be installed on, this defaults to C:

 

If you cannot find the installation executable on your computer, check your email for when you received instructions on how to initially install your Hydratec for Revit software. If you need help with any of this, always feel free to contact support at revitsupport@hydracad.com if you need any assistance. 

Optionally, it is possible the only issue is that the registry path for Hydratec's software got changed or removed. If you are comfortable using the Registry Editor, navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HYDRATEC\Ver50 and either change or create 'InstallPath' and change it to where your Hydratec for Revit software is located.
