The solution in the error message rarely works. Merging with a blank project usually does work.
1.Close the file and HydraLIST
2.Open HydraLIST through the Icon, do File-->New, name and save
3. enter something in the project number 
- save
4. File --> Merge and browse to the troubled file *note - don't panic the cover sheet does not Merge but MAINS, LINES, HANGERS, and MISC do.
5.Save and process list again
