Revit Based HydraCAD (Ribbon/Toolbar/Location)

Description:

Error Message - The duct/pipe has been modified to be in the opposite direction causing the connections to be invalid. The referenced object is not valid, possibly because it has been deleted from the database, or its creation was undone.

Solutions:

Cause:

1. Connecting a sprinkler using a flex connection out of the top of a pipe. The connection fails.

Solution:

1. When connecting to the top of a pipe - the value for the "Return Bend Hieght" must be large enough for a short nipple plus the additional length required for the fitting takeout on each end. Connecting to a 4" pipe requires a "Return Bend Hieght" of 8" or 9" resulting in a short up nipple of pipe.
